Masked men used a forklift to break into a shop in south Staffordshire. The forklift was used to force entry into a convenience store on Walsall Road, Great Wyrley, at about 4am on Saturday, August 20.

After entry was gained, a group of masked men exited a white panel van and entered the store. They made several trips from inside and loaded the van with various bags of items before driving away towards Jones Lane.

Part of the cashpoint has since been reported missing. Officers later recovered scratch cards and a clear latex glove which had been discarded following the burglary near Fishery Lane. The forklift was left at the scene and has been seized for forensic examination.
